UUCODE
UCode was inspired by the then upcoming Covid-19 crisis at that time. I asked myself how our clothing could look like, if there would be much more risks in our environment. I created a uniform that should protect ourselves. Furthermore I had the dystopian idea that every person’s data is collected in a system and can be accessed by an individual QR-Code. That code is placed all over the uniform and readable from every direction.
Drafts: in the beginning I made some drafts how the uniform could look like
Material: I also had to choose suitable materials and then I started to sew
Imagefilm: I also created a small imagefilm
Design: The sketch shows the design I referred to while producing the uniform. Of course I had limited possibilities, but I tried to stick to the design as far as possible.
Data: it was a quick design how it could look like if the QR-Code was scanned and which data is shown
